Pour la préparation de l’exposition « Histoire extraordinaire des imprimés ordinaires » (3 mai-29 juillet 2022, Salle d’exposition de l’Université de Genève, Boulevard Carl-Vogt 66, 1205 Genève), dont le parcours inclut de nombreuses reproductions de documents couvrant une période qui s’étend du XVe au XXIe siècle, la commissaire générale a entrepris d’acquérir un ensemble d’imprimés originaux du XIXe-XXe siècle destinés à être montrés au public. Cette petite collection privée comprend actuellement des images d’Épinal et autre feuillet français, des fogli volanti italiens, des chapbooks écossais, des pulps américains, des folhetos brésiliens, des pliegos, aleluyas et scapulaires espagnols, un almanach suisse, pour un total de 26 exemplaires.

For the preparation of the exhibition "Histoire extraordinaire des imprimés ordinaires" (3 May-29 July 2022, Exhibition Hall of the University of Geneva, Boulevard Carl-Vogt 66, 1205 Geneva), whose programme includes numerous reproductions of documents covering a period from the fifteenth to the twenty-first century, the general curator has undertaken to acquire a set of original printed documents from the nineteenth to the twentieth century to be displayed to the public. This small private collection currently includes Epinal pictures and other French folios, Italian fogli volanti, Scottish chapbooks, American pulps, Brazilian folhetos, Spanish pliegos, aleluyas and scapulars, and a Swiss almanac, for a total of 26 items.
